PADI IDC- OWSI
PADI OPEN WATER INSTRUCTOR (OWI)
This is the second part of the Instructor Development Course. This course prepares the Assistant Instructor for the Instructor Exam (IE). You will learn the skills and knowledge needed to pass the exam and to the skills to be successful as a PADI Instructor.
PREREQUISITES:
- PADI Assistant Instructor, who has been a certified diver for 6 months.
- At least 60 logged dives and 100 dives to attend an IE.
- Emergency First Response Primary & Secondary Care (CPR & First Aid) training within the past 24 months.
- Medical Statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months.

EQUIPMENT:
All standard instructor and certified assistant equipment as listed in the PADI
Instructor Manual, General Standards and Procedures section. Equipment needs to include gear suitable for a cold-water location.
LODGING:
Adventure Scuba has partnered with the Best Western Clocktower Inn. Contact us for reservation details. Lodging, food and travel expenses are not included in IDC tuition.
IN-PERSON ITINERARY for OWSI:
This IDC Session is designed for candidates that have already completed the Assistant Instructor rating. The Assistant Instructor course is available through Adventure Scuba.
