Air Fills, Tank Inspections and Service

Do you have your own tank and need it filled? Find an old tank while clearing the garage out and want to know more about it? Staring out with air or pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) rifles and need to figure out the best tank system to use? Bring it in and our service department can get your tanks filled for local diving, inspected or re-certified for use after long storage, or top off your tanks for target or varmint shooting for consistent ballistics.

Tank Testing Requirements:

  • Visual Inspection: Annually
  • Hydro Testing: Every 5 years
  • Our PSI Inspectors visually inspect cylinders to prescribed PSI Standards.

Please note, tanks must be current in both hydo and visual to be filled. Ultra-Sonic testing is not meet PSI standards as hydro testing. If you see a UE after a testing stamp, that indicates that the tank was tested via Ultra-Sound and will need to be hydro tested prior to filling. Please contact us if you have questions and we will be happy to explain in more detail.

Tanks that we fill:

  • Aluminum and Steel scuba cylinders- Air or Nitrox
  • Paint Ball tanks
  • BAC tanks (Avalanche pack tanks)
  • Air Rifles

Your safety is our primary concern. Our compressor receives regular filter changes, inspections, and maintenance. Quarterly, we submit an air sample for quality analysis. This is to ensure the air being pumped into your tanks is certified to the standards required for Nitrox (Enriched Air) and Breathing Air. You will find the test results on display at the shop.
